Below you will find a bit about some of our sponsors, collaborators, and partners in this work (in no particular order). This list is by no means a total list of everyone we’ve had the privilege to work with, but it will give you a snapshot of our repeat or frequent collaborators/partners.
City Of Hutchinson
Since the beginning, Hutch In Harmony has worked with 4 different city managers and several different city councilors on numerous projects and goals.
Human Relations Commission
The Human Relations Commission is a board of the City government whom we’ve had a relationship with prior to the reinstatement of the Human Relations Officer to the city’s staff. A position Hutch In Harmony was instrumental in having had reinstated after left by the wayside for nearly a decade.
Hutchinson NAACP
Our local Branch of the NAACP has been gracious partner and mentor for our work here at Hutch In Harmony and we are grateful to collaborate with them frequently.
Hutchinson NAACP Youth
The NAACP Youth group is a more recent flourishing chapter these last 5 years and we have been invested in collaborating in many projects together.
Emancipation Day Celbration Nonprofit
This local nonprofit is the leader of a celebration in Hutchinson, dating back 135 years. From participating in events to financial support, it is our of our favorite celebrations here in Hutchinson.
Hutch Rec
Hutch Rec is a city-funded non profit that helped us in achieving our goals before we were an official non-profit, as well as a fellow contributor or resource for several current projects.
Hutchinson’s Salt City Pride
Hutchinson’s Salt City Pride is an annual Pride event in Hutchinson, Kansas. They work year-round to ensure that our event is fun, safe, and accessible for all people in the LGBTQ+ community. We served as board members and volunteers for the first two ever Pride events here in Hutchinson, Ks. Since then we have been donors as well as attending and hosting a booth at the event.
Southwest Bricktown
The leaders found in the Southwest Bricktown Neighborhood have working in their community for decades and we are proud to help support their annual fiesta as well as serving as a resource and advocate for their work.
Hutchinson Community Foundation
The Hutchinson Community Foundation is a philanthropic foundation we have been asked to advise on, on occasion, as well as having been our good fortune to be the recipients of a few of their grants over the years.
Kansas Health Foundation
The Kansas Health Foundation is a non-profit organization based in Wichita, committed to improving the health of all Kansans. They are part of The Convergence, a national collaborative that a 3 year national collaborative working to transform our community’s health and well-being through just and equitable practices, conversations, and collaboration. This partnership created a 3 year funding project for four Kansas grassroots organizations, The Community/La Comunidad, Omni Circle Group, Destination Innovation, and Hutch in Harmony
Neophilanthropy group
Launched in 1983 as Public Interest Projects (PIP), NEO Philanthropy is a 501(c)(3) public charity committed to building strong social justice movements. They bridge the gap that often exists between funders and organizations doing the work through collaborative funds, fiscal sponsorships, donor services and capacity building. We know them through The Convergence, which created a 3 year funding project for four Kansas grassroots organizations.
